The new Web Sweeper Magnet is designed to protect web presses from damage caused by metal objects that drop onto the web during operation.  Either through common accidents or simply from bolts and nuts coming loose from the press.

The Web Sweeper magnetically lifts metal objects from the web before they reach the cylinders.  It is constructed of a heavy-duty stainless steel housing containing barium-ferrite ceramic magnets arranged in alternating polarities.  This creates a deep magnetic field strong enough to catch and hold even heavier metal items such as tools.

Specifications:

• Mounts to press sideframes 1" above the web.
• Stainless steel design uses ceramic magnets in alternating polarities for optimal reach-out holding power.

• Works best when installed at each printing and die cutting station.
